12 Oct Mobile Reach Integrates Mobile Apps with BMC Remedy
After nearly a year in service, Mobile Reach’s first to market mobile integration with the BMC Remedy ITSM 7.x has proven successful and is now a major asset for its clients. Mobile applications built on the Mobile Reach platform include out-of-the-box support for Incident Management, Change Approvals, Task Management, and IT Asset Management, all in an intuitive and customizable package.
In addition to customer installations, the applications are being used within BMC Software to demonstrate a complete Business Service Management (BSM) solution by extending BMC Remedy solutions to iOS, Android, BlackBerry, PDAs, Barcode Scanners, and other mobile devices.
“We are thrilled that the innovative technology released 10 months ago has been so well received by our customers,” said Nasrin Azari, Mobile Reach President. “We continue to push for the most technologically advanced mobile ITSM solutions for our current and future customers.”
Mobile Reach is receiving great reviews from our customers. “Mobile Reach was extremely easy to integrate. The mobile Incident application on the BlackBerry worked from the initial installation and after a couple of tweaks to the user interface, we were ready to roll,” said Manny Rodriguez, IT Help Desk Supervisor, Moffit Cancer Center
“By working closely with the Mobile Reach service team, we are able to provide a customized barcode scanning application that meets our users’ needs,” said Srinivas Rautwar, Project Manager for American Systems.
Partners of Mobile Reach are also very satisfied with the new technology. “We were able to install and configure Mobile Reach for our Lab environment in just one day. We are extremely pleased with the natural extension it brings to the BMC ITSM solution,” said Mike Roddenborn, Principal Software Consultant, BMC Software.
“Using Mobile Reach products, EMS can more effectively deliver BSM solutions to our clients. Mobile Reach is one of the best mobile integrations available for BMC Remedy environments. It puts the information regarding critical business service decisions in the hands of the people who need to respond. That’s why EMS implements Mobile Reach for our customers who want the most efficient and effective solution,” said Adam Alonso, CEO of EMS, Inc., a BMC Elite Partner
